It’s only when you forget your key in your apartment and have to wait for three hours, do you find the small indiscreet beauties of the world around you through walking aimlessly.
I wouldn’t call tonight a “warm” night, but layered up and with the tunes going I wandered off. It’s nothing big or special or necessarily obvious, but when you’ve got all the time and nothing else on your mind I started to notice what makes this city unique and fun. The slow decline towards the lake, the hidden courtyards with truly remarkable views. It’s not easy to spend a moment of tranquility in the city, but I managed to find that tonight.
Is it ironic then that all I want to do now is watch Top Gear with the sound up and a beer in hand? Nah…
